Light stains can be removed with a slightly - wet almost - dry damp cloth. Wipe stains from your bag using a white damp cloth with warm water. Wipe down with careful but firm motions until the stain begins to fade. It’s important to wring out all excess water from the cloth before wiping your bag. Move the cloth around leather trimming, buttons, insertions or appliques to make sure they stay safe. Allow the bag to dry completely before using again.

Straw Wicker

Gently wipe with soft rag and oil-based soapy water to remove visible stains or dirt. Keep bag away from high humidity as material is prone to mildew. Tougher oil or grease stains and mildew may require use of a soft bristle toothbrush. Avoid brushing too hard. After cleaning, wipe area with clean cloth to remove soap residue. 

Straw bags undergo a natural oxidation process which darken the straw material. This is a natural process, but storing in a dust bag away from sunlight will delay the process.
